[snip] I'm a little leery of purported bio-transmutations that are supposed to produce Calcium. It is much easier for the chicken to leach some of the Ca from it's bones to produce an eggshell, as a temporary measure. The bones can then be restored at a later time when more Ca is available in it's diet.
IOW a proper accounting would need to made of how much Ca was present both before and after, but this can't be done without killing the chicken, and you can't kill the chicken twice. Regards, Robin van Spaandonk http://rvanspaa.freehostia.com/Project.html
