Jed, all

Here is an Italian website that appears to show Focardi's apparatus with a
picture. There is the decidedly low tech appearance to the apparatus, so
let's hope there is something more professional at the demo.

No way is this one 10 or 15 kW in the sense of 10 kWhr ongoing energy - so
we must wonder - are they talking about 10 kw of net heat produced over
weeks ?

Of course, what may be demonstrated Saturday could be completely different
from this one. I hope they are talking about a demo which is considerably
more than 10 watts of excess that they ran for 1000 hours to make this
claim, or there will be some backlash from those who are expecting more.

Rossi will also be at the press conference. His blog says there will be
an "on line" version of it:

http://www.journal-of-nuclear-physics.com/

I assume this means a real-time web-broadcast. I asked Rossi what part
of his web site this will be linked to.

So, you do not need to go to Bologna to see it.

Someone who speaks Italian should please watch this and report on it.
Tell me about it.

If this is true, and the mass media believes it, it may well be the
biggest sensation in cold fusion since 1989.

To put it another way, if this is true, I guess it is Game Over and We
Won. I have difficulty taking that possibility seriously. It could
happen though. There is certainly no physical reason why a 16 kW heater
cannot be made.
