Probably most of the papers he should be reading also use too many words. Isn't a reporter supposed to be able to digest complex information?
Anyway, mea culpa. I do use a lot of words, sometimes.
Frankly, I don't think he's the brightest bulb in the string. He seems to have a hard time following arguments which are longer than a sound bite. And, BTW, criticism directed at him, personally, seems to be dismissed out of hand, which makes it difficult for him to see any flaws in his approach. If you point them out, that's a priori a personal attack, and consequently dismissed.
Yes. I first noticed how Krivit had published his private correspondence with many people, stuff that was pretty much senseless argument, personal mishegas. He readily became embroiled in debate. Not good for a reporter....
