"Understand your enemy" is much more realistic. Be convinced I know well what he has said in 140 'What's New' messages re. Cold Fusion; a chronology of his attacks can be found there: http://newenergytimes.com/v2/reports/BobParkColdFusion.shtml
<http://newenergytimes.com/v2/reports/BobParkColdFusion.shtml>On the positive side he has paid attention to Cold Fusion and not *ignored* it. Nothing is worse for a scientific field (or for an scientist) than to get no attention at all. Because I am working to elaborate an original system of solving real (not mathematical) problems- I have tried to understand; a) is some problem inherent, specific, to Cold Fusion? b) if Yes, what is the cause and how can the problem be solved? Obviously not the self-assuring data coming from the CF community but the negative opinions of the enemies- what can motivate them to attack us in this agressive manner? - are more useful to find the causes and solution. Exactly as a good coach says you (I was a swimmer some 55 years ago so I know) what your are not doing well- this helps. I have told about this in my blog Ego-Out and here: http://blog.newenergytimes.com/2011/02/09/cold-fusion-researchers-say-biggest-problem-is-stigma/ first comment As I wrote after the Bologna demonstration- I was kind of a male Solveig of cold fusion. But not a naive and idealistic one- I knew well that Per Gynt is far from being perfect. Bob Park has not published yet his message due to Feb 25.
