It looks at first glance like Mr Blakeslee makes a gross error in his
reporting of the earlier Focardi paper, where the excess heat run of 300
days is 600 MJ not 250 MWh.

Thomas Blakeslee's article is an interesting blog read. The debate is  
grotesquely interesting, like watching a train wreck or riot ...   
Have to wonder who "Steven" is.
