I meant there is not the slightest CHANCE the flow of water in ordinary pipes will cause significant ultrasound.
Water in pipes does cause ultrasound destruction, from the so-called "water hammer" effect. Nothing remotely like 16 kW though. If this could happen plumbing all over the world would be flying to pieces. The mechanical ultrasound generators at Hydrodynamics are large wheels that rotate at high speed. They work the way a mechanical WWII era siren works, except the noise is ultrasound instead of sound in the audible range. - Jed
