However, one contrarian slant on Jed's comment about particle detection, is that this may not be a net "positive" . although yes, it would literally crush skepticism. For that we would all be grateful. OTOH - we keep getting back to the problem of NRC approval, or even UL approval. With proved particle detection and real fusion, then we are back to being years away from having the device approved in the USA. The only good news is that rapid acceptance in Greece and a few Euro countries, along with Russia and all of Asia - should effectively lower oil prices by two-thirds! Supply and demand at work.
