JB: Why would a self-powered experiment of adequate run time not eliminate
all possible fakes?

Note: the experiment is contained on a moveable cart - no wires, cables, or
other connectors going in or out. It can be started from grid power and then
moved out of doors if necessary. There can be a flood-light to prove a small
excess. How can this be faked if the run time is sufficient ?

AF: It would, but I don't think it's necessary. Making it self-powered only
removes "power manipulation" and other "unlimited energy" fakes, but these
are easy to detect if the experiment is done properly.

Right, but these are the most insidious fakes of all and at least one is not
easy to detect.

I think it is important to eliminate ALL fakes . plus there is a huge PR
effect for complete self-power, which should not be overlooked.

The one "unlimited energy" fake which is most likely in this category for
the sophisticated con-man would be the coherent directed RF beam. To
eliminate this fake the experiment must be moved while running.

The normal RF antenna fake has been mentioned, and it is easy to detect - as
RF meters can pick up that kind of radiation anywhere, but a directed maser
could be hidden in the facility.

This cannot be eliminated easily ! even with good detection meter placement,
since the directed maser beam can be arriving from above or especially below
the experiment (if you own the building). All that needs to be in place is a
very efficient antenna, which can be a wire of the exact (or quarter)
wavelength in question.
