I just wish he'd get a single independent and credible test done.  Never
mind the PR stuff.  As for the needs of customers, how do we know he ever
had one or has one?

I don't think he "teamed up" in the sense that NI knows anything about
E-cats and that they work.  I think Rossi offered to buy their products and
asked for a quote.  Maybe he ordered a few temperature controllers.
Anybody can do that for almost any purpose.   That he bought some and no
other involvement is what I get from the quotes in Sterling Allen's blog:

If I buy a Rolls Royce to carry my E-cat in, it hardly means that Rolls
Royce understands or approves the E-cat or has anything whatever to do with
it.   If I use a component in an invention, in most cases, it's not a real
association with the vendor.  Rossi gains no credibility in my book by
buying parts, regardless of who it he buys them from.
