There hasn't been a panel since 2004, but results are still not published in mainstream physics journals, and mainstream science still considers the field to have little merit. Rothwell said Rossi's results represent the best evidence for cold fusion ever, and yet his results do not constitute proof at all. The results that have gotten the most attention since 2004 are from 2 people with backgrounds in fraud instead of physics: Dardik and Rossi.
