[snip] At least in the beginning the reliability of these units is not likely to be high. A grid connection provides for the possibility of grid backup when a unit fails. When lots of units are in use, they provide backup for one another. Therefore I think the most likely scenario is that the grid itself will remain for some time, but central power generation will die off. Regards,
