It sounds like it works in a manner that I would prefer to avoid. Fission of U235 also "works" like this producing dangerous side effects and waste that we will have to deal with for many years. The beauty of LENR is that it works in a manner that does not have these problems. Research into this phenomenon is certainly warranted as the scientists are uncovering new natural rules that might impact in other important ways.
