That is a function of your screen size. There are no double bars on my computer. If there are horizontal ones this procedure should take care of them, as soon as I figure out how to make it work right: http://genesistutorials.com/genesis-structural-wraps-creating-a-full-width-genesis-child-theme To reduce vertical ones, I gave the screen a lot of empty space within the frame. You have to set pixels vertically; you can't just say 100%, the way you can horizontally.
