I have long felt that the opposition to cold fusion is 1000 miles wide and 1 inch deep. When you see things such as the recent $5 million donation to the University of Missouri on the lectures at CERN you know the tide is turning. I have the impression that Park, the Amazing Randi, the nitwit journalists, and other prominent opponents are being honest about their motivation and the reasons they oppose cold fusion. They sincerely believe that all researchers are frauds or lunatics. I doubt they are part of a fossil fuel conspiracy or anything like that. I could be wrong. - Jed
