Dear Peter, For Rossi a physical reason could be an explosion or the melting of the core. I would not interpret it as if there is a well proven model that can explain why the ideal COP is 6. IMHO 6 is where a reactor with that geometry is stable enough not to cause arm, that's the "physical reason".
