I should feel sorry for rich people?!? No, maybe you mean poor people,
since I am wealthy.

Originally a Democrat, Adelson became a Republican as his wealth increased.

Cry me a river! Rich people pay 15% these days. If they have a decent tax
lawyer they do. In percent terms that is HALF of what middle class people
pay.

People like that make me sick. They have no patriotism. They should move to
India or China and see what it like living in a country where the rich pay
no taxes. In China, most people who earn $50,000 or more pay only a small
bribe to the tax collector.

If you want to live in a high tech society with air traffic control,
highways everywhere, and first-rate education and health care, you gotta
pay for the public infrastructure. You have to pay a lot. Especially in a
place like the U.S. where we seem to be perpetually at war with everyone.
Someone has to pay trillions of dollars for the wars in Iraq and
Afghanistan. Either the rich will pay, or we all will, with inflation. If
rich Republicans want to stop paying such high taxes they should stop
getting us into idiotic wars.

I know lots of rich people. I have all of my life. Believe me, they do not
need sympathy or help from anyone. They have it made in the shade. They
have more advantages that most people even imagine. Heck, that sweet Mrs.
Romney got a $70,000 tax write off for her dancing horse. A business
expense!
