Gibbs, Science has little to do with being practical; it's purpose is NOT to answer the question, "is this new discovery of practical use"? Science is about determining what *is*. the truth about the physics of something. ENGINEERING is about optimizing, scaling up/down, and making it practical; making it into a product.
