I think there is a Planck time issue here (5.3x10^-44s). The answer is yes, assuming the recombination occurs within the half cycle of Planck time. Otherwise, maybe there is an energy gain due to the physical separation. What could cause the separation of these virtual particles in this period? Could gravity be involved? Stewart? T
