I have a pre-tirement house near a Borax source : <http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borax_Lake_Site>. It was the major US source before those dang mule trains took over.
It would be a real doozie if I could just scrape up some salts, hook up the nickels and demonstrate CF// an anomalous heat effect.
