I am tired of all > these stupidities. . . . Will Rossi-watchers please tell me: When is this supposed to happen? Not that dates mean much with Rossi. Anyway, what he says is silly. He has not let anyone validate it independently, except a group that wants to keep their work secret. I have seen enough leaked data to be confident in his claims, but people who have not seen it have no reason to believe him. He is not happy that I have seen this data. He should not pretend he was ever allowed a validation. He should not pretend that people have no reason to demand validation. It is his right to say: "No, I will not allow my claims to be validated." But he should say that plainly, and he stop pretending he said something else. He should not pretend to be surprised or annoyed when the rest of us complain about his secrecy. He wants to have things both ways: secret yet with the illusion of openness. As one person who has visited him put it, "Rossi wants us to look over his shoulder as he hunches over the computer hiding the data, and he wants us to take that as a validation." I do not know if that is literally true or not, but it is the general idea. He resembles many other people who thought they discovered novel energy sources, such as Patterson, Meyer and the Correas. I think Meyer and the Correas were kidding themselves, but anyway, they behaved this way. They usually cling to the discovery and take it to the grave with them. Rossi is likely to do the same thing. Fortunately, we can probably succeed without him. If Celani and the M.F.M.P. succeed in igniting world-wide research, which leaves Rossi in the dust with an obsolete product, I will not feel very sorry for him. He has has two years to make an impact and earn some money. He could have made billions by now. Heck, I know people who would given him $1 billion. He has done *everything possible* to avoid success. He, Patterson, the Correas and the others are their own worst enemies. It is my impression he has botched every opportunity. But, with Rossi, you never know. He might have a huge contract with an actual customer. It would not shock me if that turned out to be the case. He has succeeded as a businessman in the past, and he might do it again. He is more experienced and better at business than Patterson and the others. He might pull something off. - Jed
