wow today i find a website that was totally mind blowing.

this website is about replication Nicholas Moller 's Atomic Hydrogen
Generator based on Irving Langmuir discovery.... JL Naudin replicator
achieved COP of 21 with this device (power input of 4.38 watt and power
output 92.97 watt (2005)....

Sorry to rain on your parade, but Naudin really screwed this up, and the sad
thing is that the disinformation remains online - as if JLN had not been
busted on it. In fact, it has been almost completely debunked.

I say "almost", since there could have been slight gain with proper
measurement.

Very silly error by Naudin (discovered up by George Holz on the MAGH forum)
in that JLN was using a 5% duty cycle and "calculated" the gain by reducing
the input readings - instead of measuring them directly.

Naudin's error was a multiple of 20 (reciprocal of the duty). He deflated
both the voltage AND current readings instead of just the voltage; so there
was a systemic underestimate of P-in by a factor of twenty. The calorimetry
was good. Actual P-in was near 85 watts, had he done the correct
calculation.

In the end, there was probably slight gain - not 21:1 but more like 1.1:1
(COP of 1.1)

Too bad, since had Naudin not screwed this experiment up royally - it might
have been amenable to improvement over the years. There were a few obvious
things that could have been tried.

Why do you think this has languished over the last 5 years? Answer - no, not
"suppression" - but *arrogance* - too much arrogance to correct the obvious
error.

There are other Naudin sites which suffer the same problem.
