Hate to say it, but the troll is starting to

one another.  I think Steve Johnson has been on this list since early days.
Any word on Bill? Â Is he ok?
How long do we suffer the present situation
until we reconstitute under something like
Google Groups, with Terry or another longtimer
as mod? Or should everyone who can't stand the
situation add he who shall not be named to a
killfile? Â If that's the best we can do for
now, how to address Abd's pressing concern about
having his background and religion subject to constant assault on this list?

The killfile solution doesn't work because of
other critical interests. It works if a problem is merely personal.
I killfiled the fellow and did not respond to him
for a long time. He kept it up with others, and
when I realized the damage being done, I then
documented what he'd done, and, of course, he
took that as an insult and responded in spades.
It's what he'd done before, and it did not start with me.
If this list doesn't get moderated reasonably
soon, I'm off. If I don't write here, I have no
responsibility to respond. There are a million
places on the internet where people can spew their nonsense.
But this is my community, or one of them, anyway.
So I'm responsible. I'm taking steps to contact
Bill, as have others. No response so far. When I
say I'm worried, *I'm worried.*
