Not him, for sure. There was a Bill Beatty who died in Seattle, but
that was a few years ago. Bill is in his fifities, or maybe the page
is out of date and he's in his sixties. Being 68, I'm quite aware
that people can abruptly disappear. Sometimes things just get away
from me and I don't respond to email for weeks. Happens, easily.
