The nature of the explosion of a meteoroid is closer to that of a boiler than a nuclear bomb. The trapped water or dry ice within the structure flash vaporizes with the entry into the atmosphere and the destruction is a rending of the structure of the rock or nickel/iron. Virtually no EMP or gamma should result. Space rocks.
