Yeah, that is what I was trying to say Terry. I pointed out that there was no electromagnetic pulse damage, so likely no nuclear explosion. :-)

The trapped water or dry ice within the structure flash vaporizes with the entry into the atmosphere and the destruction is a rending of the structure of the rock or nickel/iron. Virtually no EMP or gamma should result. Space rocks.
