Great find Terry!!!

Everyone is so focused on one or two threads that new ones don't get much
attention...

Terry Blanton has stumbled across an interesting paper.

The procedure to make these Ni nanochains is quite simple, and requires less
than 5kOe mag-fld between two electromagnets using between 0 and 10A.

VERY consistent/controllable diameters of 33, 78 and 120nm.

Subject: [Vo]:Ni Powder in a Magnetic Field

Forms nanochains. Kinda like whiskers? So, a changing magnetic field would
make this geometry come alive?
