Dennis,
Congratulations on a novel demo. I hope that the persistent thermal gain is at least as high as Arata. I love the simplicity and the likelihood that it is meaningful . but maybe I am in the "unwashed" category. After the demo, if you have the time - please post a video on YouTube of the NI Week setup, or some other way to put this into view for others to replicate or improve. With unpowered devices in comparative situations, if one of them stays warmer over extended periods, then the major problem is to eliminate the chemical reaction possibility. With the Les Case type spheres, loaded with hydrogen, the most obvious reaction would be slow hydrogenation, no? Of course, a skeptic will probably say that one of them is not staying warmer, the other is cooling. not realizing that endotherm is itself a usable energy anomaly. From: DJ Cravens sneak preview ..of one of two demo units, the other is still in the under construction but will be visually striking if I can pull it off: I tried to send this before with a picture, but I guess Vortex didn't like it. So here it is again without the picture. one sphere with sample, one with control(sand) in the same "bath". Lab Armor Al beads for uniform bath temp, hollow (450ml) 4" brass spheres lightly plated with Au for uniform emissivity, with thermistor well and lampblack paint spot. (can also check with IR gun). The sample just stays warmer. (duration of expo is 5 days- about). I am not selling anything so that there will be no such fraud arguments. I will give vortex a "heads up" a little before NI Week about demo #2. But remember this is not a "science" experiment, it is a demo for the "unwashed masses" and is just to stimulate public awareness. dennis _____ Date: Mon, 1 Jul 2013 09:56:53 -0700 From: [email protected] To: [email protected] Subject: [Vo]:A show of hands, whose going to ICCF-18?
