Jesus never said he was a carpenter.
***Now I see that you're saying that Jesus "could have" been a carpenter.
You're pretty disingenuous.

Nor did any of the gospel writers claim that he was a carpenter.
***Mark 6:3. New International Version <http://biblehub.com/niv/mark/6.htm>
Isn't this the carpenter? Isn't this Mary's son and the brother of James,
Joseph, Judas and Simon? Aren't his sisters here with us?" And they took
offense at him.
I see you're cutting a mighty fine line, such a fine line as one would
expect from someone who is disingenuous.

His earthly father was a carpenter, that is where the assumption
***It is not an assumption. It is an inference, based upon plain scripture
in Mark 6:3, common customs of the day, etc. Again you walk this VERY fine
line.

came from that he was a carpenter also. Many times that is the case, but
may not be the case here. We simply don't know.
***We have far more evidence that Jesus was a carpenter than we do that the
earth is 6000 years old. That is, unless one is very disingenuous with the
evidence.
