Terry--

By an electron in "ground state" I assume you mean a free, low kinetic energy (non-relativist), electron mass equivalent energy. I have only calculated it roughly following measurement of annihilation EM energy from reaction with a low kinetic energy positron. I did not consider the spin energy of the electron in a "ground state". In hind sight I assumed the spin energy averaged 0. If you mean "ground state" to be an electron with -1/2 spin, I have not calculated the negative energy associated with that state.

Your theory is sane. That's my theory too.

Have you successfully calculated the total energy contained in an
electron in ground state?
