Reading that IR review paper they have a formula that the calorimeter 
calculates temperature as 

T := e * [internal measured result] 

:= means I left out constants and other variables like area 

(Though I seem to recall from the Optris guide that there were other terms 
involving e ) 

Then (just using Stefan Boltzmann) 

P := e * T^4 -> e^5 

I'll go do the math when I have time.
