I have MacOSX 10.4.6 but I got it thru the automatic update thingy, so I'm not sure if it updated python as well, but anyway, both "/usr/bin/python -V" and "/System/Library/Frameworks/Python.framework/Resources/Python.app/Contents/MacOS/Python -V" print the version string "Python 2.3.5" so I think thats the version that is bundled with MacOSX, although I have like 3 other versions of Python on my computer (from Fink, the MacPython installer, and my own custom build) so I also have 2.4 and 2.5, I think.
