If business users can input textual data online through *3d interface*
then it would expand applicability. I like the way that's modeled with
CrystallZilla or uBrowser. But the approach taken through
VOSGUI/Metatronic appears to be similar to Crazy Eddies GUI System
except Crazy Eddies is rendered inside the 3d word on a 2d not 3d
plane.(There was no reference to Crazy Eddies GUI System in the list
archive.)

Crazy Eddies

Multi-platform compiling and running. Includes Windows and Linux as a
stable release. Mac OS project files are in the making;
      * Heavily data-driven by using XML files, a generic property
        system and powerful skinning possibilities;
      * UNICODE support (check the fonts sample);
      * Renderers for OpenGL, Directx9, Ogre3D (provided by the Ogre
        team) and Irrlicht;
      * Clear interface in case you want to write your own renderer;
      * At least two mature tools;
      * Many wiki pages and usefull sample projects;
