What gcc are you using?
Honestly, I have no good idea, what is wrong, but I am guessing
boost-1.41.0 has a bug, which got fixed in 1.41.1.
For votca-xtp, you will need boost-1.48 down the road anyhow, so it is
time to upgrade.
