That is how I found it, but I could not remember if it was soundconfig,
configsoune, sndconfig, configsnd or a number of other variations, but Foo
verified which one it was and I tried find sndconfig, but couldn't find it
so I then used locate sndconfig and found it.

P. S. I am starting to really love Vim now that I use it only. I only loded
it and gvim as text editors and took out all of the others. I use it at
school now to. They have a block on ssh so I have to use telnet, but that is
ok I suppose.

if you think something might exist on your system but you don't know where,
you can use "locate sndconfig". "which" is nice for stuff in your $PATH so
you don't get tons of replies, but locate is good for when the thing isn't
in your path.
use updatedb to update locate's database.
