Um.... i did that.
i've contacted the author of the dvd playing howto about numerous errors
in his document, and got no reply. there are at least 3 out-and-out errors,
and a bunch of things are simply outdated.
at this point, his section on livid is *completely* wrong. so i see no
reason to merge the two documents. for example, oms is the only binary
from the utilities you need. and the interface is much more simple.
right now, a couple of livid developers are writing a whole new section on
getting, compiling and using livid for my howto.
