Okay, I tried to run apt-get from the xadminmenu and it told me that there's
a source code error on line 3 of /apt/sources.list This was the same file I
needed to alter to get KDE2 running which i never did get running. Any
ideas? I also need to get modules and need to get some other stuff off the
net, and I'm guessing my stuff isn't configured properly. I do believe that
at IF we got my ethernet card recognized and working, but how do I configure
my computer to get internet. One thing I need is from roaring penguin,
online and again I don't know how to configure my Linux to get on the net.

Yes. I'm sorry; it sucks; but the day that some punk breaks into your box
and uses YOUR resources and YOUR connection to launch an attack that can
only be traced back to YOU, you'll be glad you did. Please. :)

Well, that can be remedied. Maybe someone could speak on it? Basic
security for DSL folks? (n.b. I'd be a rather poor choice for this, since
I don't have DSL myself.)
