ok, i'm an idiot. i thought the record player should have a line output
without the need for an amplifier -- of course it does. duh.
i would like to retract my previous question and replace it with another.
has anyone ever heard of click and pop filters suitable for music lifted from
vinyl and placed on cd format? scanning the web, i saw some audio filters
for linux, but nothing specifically to "clean up" vinyl. i did see some for
windows, all for $$$. :(
