When I put a coax jack in my room I used a mounting box that braced itself 
aginst the drywall it was being mounted in using som plastic wings that pop 
out and tighten against the back of the drywall when you tighten the screws. 
Neat thingy. I belive I got it at hibbit (sp?) lumber. It works fine.

I don't rember if they had round ones, but you can always use a drywall saw 
to make the mounting box fit.
