do the right job?
Don't really understand:
- the patch in http://www.voyage.hk/download/kernel_patch/2.6/wd1100_2.6.patch already have the
following lines:

Doesn't it do the job? Moreover, are you using the 2.6.12 kernel that built by
yourself?
