Of cours only the last line is really needed but ...
Punky could you apply this to your wd1100 patch so future realeases will do the right job?

Don't really understand:
- the patch in http://www.voyage.hk/download/kernel_patch/2.6/wd1100_2.6.patch already have the following lines:

I don't understand too. I think I had a bad day when I've done some stuff.
I have now seen that you have this already in the patch.
I have no idea why my driver did not have this. Only this lines were missing.
The source isn't from 2.4 so I really have no idea what I have done ...
Sorry again.

+MODULE_LICENSE("GPL");
+MODULE_AUTHOR("Mark Grosberg <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and Rolando Goldman <[EMAIL PROTECTED]>");
+MODULE_DESCRIPTION("National Semiconductor SC1x00 CPU watchdog driver");
+MODULE_ALIAS_MISCDEV(WATCHDOG_MINOR);

Doesn't it do the job? Moreover, are you using the 2.6.12 kernel that built by yourself?

Yes 2.6.12 works fine now with reboot but only with wd1100 and watchdog.
I have no more applied reboot patch because useless with this kernel.
This is a TODO for me to see why it doesn't anymore work some day ...

Thanks and have fun
