But my real question about the new experimental kernel is, that my
ath0 support seems to have gone away (aetheros madwifi, which worked
very well in the stock voyage 2.0 kernel I used before). I now get
something like this on an ifup ath0:
ifup ath0
run-parts: /etc/network/if-pre-up.d/madwifi exited with return code 1
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device ath0 ; No such device.
SIOCSIFADDR: No such device
ath0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
SIOCSIFNETMASK: No such device
SIOCSIFBRDADDR: No such device
ath0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
ath0: ERROR while getting interface flags: No such device
Failed to bring up ath0.
Do I need to change out some madwifi tools to make it happen with this
kernel?

not voyage and is not ready to use.
