Jan,

Thanks, but I just finished syncing by hand (with help of diff tool)
synced the modules directory and moved the kernel to /boot and rebooted.

so far so good.
Next time I will follow your suggestion

Punky,

great news, will try it out tomorrow

Is there some smart way to do an upgrade ?
for instance :
  - copy the geodewdt module to the lib/modules...., adapt /etc/modules
  - copy ?? files to /boot

i would try:
wget
http://www.voyage.hk/dists/experimental/linux/linux-image-2.6.20-486-voyage_4.0-2_i386.deb
and then dpkg -i linux-image-2.6.20-486-voyage_4.0-2_i386.deb

dpkg might complain about a installed kernel with the same name or
something, just follow the suggestions
cheers
