thanks, this confirms it.
Seems that DMA requires that offset 40, bit 2 is set for DMA.


The bios on the Alix board has done that, but on the Soekris it is not set.

2. That means geodewdt does not work with net5501 at the moment. Iwill remove geodewdt in net5501 profile in voyage.update. Ifgeodewdt works, you can see it from dmesg.

Watchdog driver are still missing for ALIX and net5501. I havebeen told that CS5536 driver is able to program as watchdogtimer, and I also have the kernel codes for "multi-functiongeneral purpose timer", but there is still a long way to programthe timer API for watchdog purpose.
