it is easier (and more cheap) to get it running through USB.
most of them are Linux supported.

Has anyone has any experience working with GPRS and/or 3G connections
on the WRAP/ALIX architecture. I’ve got a requirement to put something
like this into a system but have really struggled to find any decent
miniPCI based solutions.
If you’re doing something like this, how are you achieving it? Is it
simple?
