Hi Edwin,
It seems that even with the capacitor added, the ALIX board will
shutdown with an XR2 *and* an XR5 installed.
I don't have this problem. On one side I have a XR2 an XR5 and on the
oher hand SR2 and SR5.
The Alix is alive and running.
Not sure what the next step is but I have a local associate with the
equipment and expertise to investigate this a little more and perhaps
come up with a further mod to make this excellent board handle the
latest and greatest radios currently available.
the mod is clear : the mini-pci cards need to be able to get more
amperage to be able to give the full 600mW power specified on the datasheet.
ideas?
