Hi! As madwifi doesn't work properly in ad-hoc mode, we are trying to use the minstrel rate algorithm to improve performance in atheros based devices. We've obtained good results with nanostation devices and we would like to try with voyage (WRAPS and ALIX). However, we don't know how to activate the minstrel rate algorithm on boot by default instead of the sample. Anyone could give advice on this? We've tried "modprobe ath_pci rate=minstrel" but this not seems to work.
