I'm not sure the article applies to smbfs as opposed to the full samba
package and it is out of date. Is adding the samba directories
mentioned in the wiki article to /etc/init.d/voyage-sync the
recommended 'fix' for this issue?
I can report that adding /var/lib/samba and /var/cache/samba to
VOYAGE_SYNC_DIRS in /etc/default/voyage-util fixes remountro.
