There seems no problem in HDMI connection as I can see login prompt on my TV screen. How do I get my HDMI audio output enabled?
You need at least 3.17 or 3.18 kernel. Just pick a 3.17 or 3.18 kernel from this link:
http://mirror.voyage.hk/download/voyage-mubox/cubox-i/ To install it, e.g. cd ~ wget http://mirror.voyage.hk/download/voyage-mubox/cubox-i/kernel-cubox-i-3.18.2~fc20+.tar.xz tar -Jxf kernel-cubox-i-3.18.2~fc20+.tar.xz -C / sync reboot After reboot you would see HDMI audo listed as first ALSA device (i.e. hw:0,0): root@voyage-mubox:~# uname -a Linux voyage-mubox 3.18.2~fc20+ #8 SMP Wed Feb 18 13:50:44 HKT 2015 armv7l GNU/Linux root@voyage-mubox:~# aplay -l **** List of PLAYBACK Hardware Devices **** card 0: DWHDMI [DW-HDMI], device 0: DW HDMI [dw-hdmi-audio] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 card 1: SPDIF [Integrated SPDIF], device 0: S/PDIF PCM snd-soc-dummy-dai-0 [] Subdevices: 1/1 Subdevice #0: subdevice #0 -- Regards, Kim-man "Punky" Tse * Open Source Embedded Solutions and Systems - Voyage Linux (http://linux.voyage.hk) - Voyage MPD (http://linux.voyage.hk/voyage-mpd) - Voyage MuBox (http://mubox.voyage.hk) * Voyage Store (http://store.voyage.hk) _______________________________________________ Voyage-linux mailing list Voyage-linux@list.voyage.hk http://list.voyage.hk/mailman/listinfo/voyage-linux
