Ooops, sorry.

The server actually sends a

 Location: <it's own URL>

again, probably because due to some misconfiguration which may 
only show up with HTTP/1.1 requests. "Location:" is a HTTP 
header for server-side Redirects and tells the browser to 
immediately fetch the given URL.
