Sounds a good idea. Sorry I couldn't be more specific about what it is the PC
does and macs don't. Something about a "call". vague I know. To do with when
you log on and the programme calls back to your system to check you are the
one calling I think. probably where that ID for the cpu was thought to be
useful.
